World-Class Craft, Local Growth
Enbarr will specialize in the full spectrum of visual effects, from complex CG environments and FX systems to cutting-edge Aging & De-Aging workflows.
Beyond the screen, Enbarr is committed to elevating the Irish VFX sector. By collaborating with Screen Ireland, the Irish government, and leading academic institutions, the studio aims to nurture the next generation of digital artists.
This mission is bolstered by Ireland's Section 481 program, which offers one of the world's most competitive tax incentives: a 40% refundable credit on qualifying Irish spend.
“At the end of the day, we're here to help filmmakers tell their stories,” said Ed Bruce. “For us, it's about the art and partnerships. We wanted to create a space where we can work alongside directors and visionaries who care about the craft as much as we do. It's a really positive time to be in Dublin, building a team of like-minded, creative people and looking forward to what we can create together.”
“Launching Enbarr is a proud moment for us and a great step forward for the Irish VFX sector,” added Nicholas Murphy. “Being part of the Dream Machine FX Group gives us an incredible foundation of technology and expertise to build a bright, sustainable future for the industry in Ireland. It's an exciting new chapter.”
The Legend of Enbarr
The name Enbarr finds its roots deep in Irish mythology, specifically the legend of Tír na nÓg, the "Land of the Young." Enbarr is the name of the majestic magical horse that can gallop across the waves.
In modern retellings of this myth, the name Enbarr is poetically translated as “Imagination.” A fitting title for a studio dedicated to bringing the impossible to life.
